I don’t know about you, but I love getting gifts all year round! Now that the holidays are almost upon us, I thought now would be a great time to tell you my favorite gardener gifts. Here are the 10 best gifts for gardeners.
Even though its only September, I’m starting to see holiday related items in stores, as well as online. I even tested out how many people were looking at holiday related items by pinning a new holiday pin from an older article and got tons of eyes on the pin. So, a bunch of people are already thinking about the holidays!
I think its too early…but apparently many people don’t. So if you are one of those people that is already thinking about what to get your favorite gardener for the holidays, here are the 10 best gifts for gardeners.
Indoor Greenhouse Kit
I love, LOVE, these indoor greenhouse kits by Jiffy! They are great for the gardener who does not have much space (like me) or want to start small when it comes to starting plants as seeds. Each kit comes with pellets that expand with water to start your seeds in. You can fit up to 12 different types of seeds in this kit, although there are larger kits available. You can also purchase replacement pellets when you are finished with the first 12. Great gift for adults and children!
Garden Gloves
Garden gloves are a great gift to give to your favorite gardener any time of the year. There are also a variety of styles to choose from for men, women, and children. You can find them with cute patterns or plain colors. I love these garden gloves that come with claws, so that you can not only keep your hands dirt free, but also dig in the dirt and not get poked by roses. The gloves come in teal with back, so men and women can both enjoy wearing them in the garden.
Sunflower Starter Kit
Who doesn’t love sunflowers? There are so many to choose from as well! I have grown several, and am just starting another variety in my mini greenhouse. This starter kit is a great gift for children and adults alike. This organic sunflower starter kit is great for the beginner gardener, or for your favorite gardener who loves these vibrantly colored flowers.
Garden Shoes
Aren’t these garden shoes super cute? I love the variety of patterns and colors you can choose as well. They have really comfortable insoles for those who tend to get sore feet. These sloggers are also a great alternative to regular shoes when you don’t want to get your everyday shoes dirty. Fortunately, if these garden shoes get dirty, they are easy to clean up!
Garden Tool Set
Not sure what to get your favorite gardener? Get them a little of everything with this garden tool set. This set comes with five different garden tools, a pair of gloves, a flower mister, and a tool bag to fit all these goodies in! The bag comes with little pockets on the outside for all the tools and mister to fit in, while you can place larger items in the main bag.
Garden Kneeler
Another great gift is a garden kneeler. This is great for gardeners who like to kneel to garden, without getting their knees sore or dirty. The padding keeps your knees in tip top shape. The kneeler can also double as a chair, with plenty of storage pockets on either side. This kneeler is foldable, so that it can be stored in small spaces as well.
Tricycle Plant Stand
A plant stand will make a great garden gift for any time of the year. This adorable tricycle plant stand is no exception. There are three different areas to place pots with plants in them. These would be great to mix and match plants for different seasons and times of the year. This one reminds me of the beach cruiser I have hanging in the garage that I need to use again soon…
Plant Lady Mug
Get your favorite gardener this plant lady mug so that they can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before playing in the dirt for the day. The elegant script on the mug is located on both sides and decorated with flowers on a green background. I know I could always use another tea mug!
Mother Hen and Chicks Sculptures
Do you know a gardener who loves hens and chicks but doesn’t have room in their garden for real ones? Gift them with this cute hen and chicks sculpture set. Requires no feeding or picking up eggs! These sculptures are made of metal, giving them a nice outdoor look. They would look great in a garden bed among some beautiful plants and flowers.
Gardening T-shirt
Last, but certainly not least, is this gardening t-shirt. You can never go wrong with gifting someone with a shirt, especially this one. I know I love playing in the dirt! These women’s shirts come in a variety of sizes to fit your favorite gardener perfectly.
